Interview with Dylan At school this year we have a new "lettore" of English: his name is Dylan. He comes from Trento, where he teaches English at the language centre of CLM. He is a mother tongue and teaches in Second classes in our school, for 10 weeks, every Tuesday. He

will finish in March.

We prepared a lot of questions in class about his life and family, his hobbies and interests, and then we asked him the questions. We discovered that he is a great photographer (during a voyage of nine months in South America he took 25.000 pictures!!) and that he is an international person… Here it is what he said to us: Students: Where are you from? Dylan: I’m from Manchester, in England...my mother is English and was born in Tanzania, in Africa, while my grandfather was born in Dubai. My father is Italian, he was born in Trento. SS: Where do you live? D: I live in Trento, in the past I lived in Manchester, in England. SS: How old are you? D: I’m 43 years old. SS: Where do you work? D: I work in Trento. SS: What’s your surname? D: My surname is Kier. SS: Were you a good student when you were young? D: Well, good question..At middle school, I was a good student. At high school I was a bad student. SS: What sport do you do? D: I sometimes go to the gym and I play tennis. SS: What do you do in your free time? D: In my free time I take pictures, I meet my friends, I walk in the mountains... I like taking pictures and travelling. SS: Do you like listening to music? D: I like listening to music. My favourite groups are: The Queen; U2; Cold Play. My favourite singer is Bob Dylan. SS: Do you like to play football? D: Yes, I do. SS: What’s your favourite football team? D: My favourite football team is Manchester United. SS: Do you prefer living in Trento or in Manchester? D: I prefer living in Trento because I love the mountains and the blue skies. I also like the cafes in Trento. SS: Do you prefer the sea or the mountains? D: Well, it`s difficult to say... I like them both. SS: What’s your favourite animal? D: My favourite animal is the eagle because it can fly very high. SS: Why did you choose this job?
